Our story

Built from conception to completion

Rumble Productions is an award-winning production company founded by Jessica Wachs in 2015 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. What began as a musical sketch comedy and improv troupe has evolved into a multifaceted creative company producing innovative film, music, and live entertainment experiences.

Since relocating to Key West, Florida, in 2021, Rumble has facilitated over 100 productions and festivals, served over 130 students through its acclaimed Vocal Lab masterclass, and emerged as a respected entertainment entity that has garnered over 20 awards and nominations. The company has collaborated with notable industry leaders and artists including Nicholas Petricka of Walk the Moon, Eric Burton of the Black Pumas, Gordon Ramsay, Manon Matthews, and American Idol’s founding producer, Charles Boyd.

Today, Rumble is actively developing original film projects and social media content while continuing to produce live musical and theatrical events, artistic collaborations, and radio shows across the nation. Rumble remains committed to connecting established industry professionals with emerging talent while creating meaningful artistic impact both locally and beyond.

Jessica Wachs

A Wisconsin native with New Mexican roots and a Los Angeles history, Jessica is a Key West based singer/songwriter, personality, and content creator with a spontaneous, authentic flare. Jess grew up immersed in jazz, musical theatre, and choral music before a love for film, comedy, and a cappella evolved, igniting her innovation and eclectic creativity full time.

Abigail Mitchell

Abigail helps business owners and marketing strategists bring their brands to life through thoughtful design, marketing support, and a holistic approach that honors the human behind the business. With over two decades of artistry and business experience, she pairs strategy with heart — offering graphic and website design, audiovisual support, and marketing guidance that’s as emotionally aligned as it is effective.

Terri Klein

Terri Klein is a playwright, poet, and performer who has lived in many places, but currently resides in Albuquerque, NM. Her main focus at Rumble Productions is writing short plays, sketches, and songs.

Rick Boettger

Rick Boettger had a Top Secret security clearance in the Army and studied nuclear chemistry at MIT and law at Yale before getting a PhD in business at Berkeley.

Scott Forman

Scott Forman is a seasoned music professional whose career began in Boston, working in the Cars recording studio called Synchro Sound with renowned bands such as The Cars and Aerosmith, as well as notable music producer Rick Rubin and the iconic duo, Hall and Oates.

James LeGrand King III is an award-winning music composer, pianist, clinician and educator. Originally from South Carolina, he has been an active teacher and performer in the Florida Keys since 2008.

Mark Funkhauser

Mark has combined his love of hiking, backpacking and other types of adventure travel with photography to capture photos of nature and all settings of outdoor scenes. While photographing family members for senior photos and family portraits, he discovered his passion for capturing not just the people, but also their energy, mood, emotion and vibe.

Alexandra

Alexandra is a dynamic professional with a strong background in executive support, project coordination, communications, and business development. Known for her resourcefulness, attention to detail, and ability to bring structure to fast-moving projects, she works closely with leadership to support the growth and execution of key initiatives.

Her experience spans creative projects, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, research, and strategic outreach, giving her a versatile perspective across both business and creative environments. Alexandra is naturally curious and brings an energetic, thoughtful approach to every project she takes on.

Alongside her professional work, Alexandra is pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management, further developing her interest in leadership, organisations, and creating meaningful impact.

Matt

Matt Taff is a Producer, Editor and writer. As a Producer in the Producers Guild of America he has won a Daytime Emmy for the Bay for 2020 for Outstanding Digital Drama Series as well as being nominated in 2024, 2023, 2021. He is currently co-Editor and Producer on a cyberpunk thriller feature film starring Bai Ling, Eric Roberts and Daeg Faerch in post-production right now. He is also working in Post-Production on the show Big Brother on CBS and on social change projects also like a Punta De Mita documentary and the current Rumble Productions including a music video about the housing crisis.

Flynn M.

Nearly 30 years as an industry leading broadcast professional. Master footage handler. Ace pixel pusher. Faithful technician of television. Known fixture of NYC post production and possibly the original “rockstar AE” on the East coast. Relatively successful for an independent. Delivered thousands of episodes of around 100 shows earning seven Emmys I can count. These numbers will only be going up from here!
